Qin Guangrong (Chinese: c??a??e??; Pinyin: QA-n GuA?ngrA?ng; born 1 December 1954) is a Chinese politician. He currently serves as the Governor of Yunnan in southwestern China.
Qin was born in Hunan Province in 1950. He was first appointed the Governor of Yunnan in January 2007. He was re-elected as Governor by the Yunnan Provincial People's Congress on January 24, 2008.
The Governor of Yunnan is the second highest ranking political position in Yunnan after the chief Secretary of the Communist Party of China in Yunnan. The Governor is responsible for all matters concerning economics, politics, personnel, the environment and foreign affairs in Yunnan.
