More stars buyin’ stars’ houses: Out in Hidden Hills, Jessica Simpson has rescued Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne from their seemingly chronic house-selling problem. She closed last month on the house, which was built in 2001 and features design from Martyn Lawrence Bullard (the sale’s been rumored for a while). It also comes with six bedrooms, a guest apartment with kitchenette, a reclaimed brick fireplace, a home theater and studio, and a pool and spa, all on two and a half acres. According to the LA Times, the Osbournes paid $12.4 million in 2007; Simpson got a bargain, shelling out just $11.5 million. (Previously, Simpson’s fellow pop singer Christina Aguilera bought the Osbournes’ famous reality show house in Beverly Hills.) · Musical chairs: Jessica Simpson buys Osbourne home [LAT] · 8 Celebrities Who Couldn’t Sell Their Houses in 2012 [Curbed LA]
