If we followed periodically well-behaved comedian Andy Dick on Twitter, we’d have known already that he’s been living in a shed in Topanga Canyon. But we don’t, so we had to find out from a press release from Inside Edition. (Dick will be on the show today talking about his recent sobriety.) From what we can tell, Dick sold a Woodland Hills house in 2010 and his ex-girlfriend (with whom he has children) has long owned the shed land up in Topanga Canyon. According to HowardStern.com, which sent Gary Dell’Abate to visit in 2010, the property is “a hippie-like compound,” and “The ex-wife’s in the house, the ex-girlfriend’s in a trailer, Andy’s in the shed…and then there’s a bunch of kids hanging around.” HS.com says the shed cost $3,000, but that the bed, artwork, flatscreen TV, and flooring cost $5,000. Fancy! However, there does not appear to be a bathroom, just a bucket in the corner. Now that’s the Andy Dick we all know. · A JEWEL OF AN INTERVIEW [HowardStern.com] · Andy Dick [Twitter]
